Vodafone is hiring a Billing Insight Specialist to join our Ireland Billing & Payments team. In this role, you will use your deep billing expertise to analyze key systems and processes, driving performance improvements and strategic outcomes. You will engage with business stakeholders across Consumer, Enterprise, and Customer Care to deliver actionable insights.
What You'll Do
- Manage and centralize Billing data insights across multiple systems for the Billing Team.
- Deliver regular reporting on key Billing processes to bring understanding through trending.
- Provide support and insights to all key areas of the Billing Team, including Billing Operations, Billing Impacts, and the Payments team.
- Develop a clear understanding of the customer base and the systems used in their billing journey.
- Bring current Billing best practices to the Billing team to feed strategy.
- Deliver accurate and timely impact analysis for new initiatives and system changes.
- Provide insight and support for Customer escalations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of billing processes.
- Bring key information to Billing Management to drive future outcomes, focusing on Billing Best Practice, Controls, and Customer insight support.
- Lead or support projects originating from the Billing Team and external initiatives with a key Billing & Payments focus.
- Work collaboratively with key third-party vendors to help deliver goals.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of operational Telco billing experience.
- Technical expertise with complex data sets, including experience with AI.
- Billing analytics subject matter expertise.
- Data insights expertise.
- Experience with customer escalations.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Experience deriving and communicating insights from analysis.
- Experience working effectively with third-party vendors, outsourced, and offshore resources.
- Experience working with multiple complex billing solutions.
- Strong experience driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in an operational environment.

- Knowledge of payments and credit risk management.
- Good financial awareness.
- Knowledge of data mining and statistics.
