Labcorp (Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings) is hiring a Billing Coordinator II - Remote

Position Overview

This is a fully remote opportunity for a Billing Coordinator II to support comprehensive accounts receivable operations within a healthcare revenue cycle setting. The individual will manage end-to-end billing processes, resolve payment discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of claims and client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounts receivable tasks such as order processing, claims preparation, data editing, and follow-up activities
  • Review and resolve patient account issues including eligibility verification, unprocessed claims, denials, and collections
  • Respond to incoming calls from clients and provide accurate, timely solutions to billing concerns
  • Follow up with clients to obtain missing documentation and address overdue invoices
  • Process manual and electronic payments and complete all related recordkeeping
  • Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents and insurance denials to resolve outstanding balances
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all billing interactions and financial transactions
  • Utilize billing systems and databases to research and resolve account issues efficiently
  • Assist in training team members as needed and support other departments with billing needs

Qualifications

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least three years of direct experience in medical billing. An Associate’s Degree or ICD certification is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

This position operates remotely with core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $18.50 to $20.50 per hour. Final offers reflect relevant experience, credentials, and internal equity. Additional compensation details are determined by business needs and market standards.
