Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring an experienced Billing Analyst to join our Finance Operations team. In this fully remote role, you will ensure accurate and timely billing processes while collaborating across multiple teams to optimize our financial operations.
What You'll Do
- Execute end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, validation, and distribution to clients
- Analyze billing data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvements
- Review and validate contract terms to ensure billing compliance and accuracy
- Coordinate with account teams, property managers, and other stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries
- Lead special billing projects and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with AR teams to support collections and reduce DSO
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of billing procedures
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on billing best practices
- Generate and distribute regular billing reports to management
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial close processes related to billing
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related financial operations
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Experience leading teams or projects
- Knowledge of real estate or professional services billing practices
