About the Role
The therapist will provide direct clinical services to children and adolescents, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with care teams using secure telehealth technology.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and family therapy sessions in both Spanish and English
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for youth clients
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to support client progress
- Engage in regular clinical supervision and case consultations
- Respond to client communications within established response time guidelines
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain clinical competency
- Support care coordination efforts across schools, families, and providers
- Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality protocols in all interactions
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Document clinical notes promptly and thoroughly
- Use telehealth platform effectively for secure client sessions
- Follow crisis intervention protocols when necessary
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within clinical operations
Nice to Have
- Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles
- Training in cognitive behavioral therapy or similar modalities
- Prior experience in school-based or community mental health settings
- Knowledge of adolescent development and behavioral health trends
