Hazel Health is hiring a Bilingual Physical Health Support Specialist to be a critical link in our telemedicine care delivery. You will directly support our provider team by facilitating seamless patient visits and ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders. This role is key to helping us deliver effective and accessible healthcare to students and families.
What You'll Do
- Support telemedicine visits by making phone calls to families in both English and Spanish.
- Manage internal chat communications among providers and relay messages to appropriate staff.
- Create job tickets for school and initiator needs.
- Provide interpretation and translation services for phone calls, telehealth visits, and written medical documentation.
- Answer questions from parents and guardians and relay pertinent information back to the provider.
- Troubleshoot minor technical difficulties and escalate to the IT team when needed.
- Work with the Clinical Operations team to identify process improvements and document new procedures.
- Ensure continuity of care by acting as a liaison between providers, parents, students, and school personnel.
- Provide back-up coverage to other support staff.
What We're Looking For
- Must successfully complete an accredited medical interpreter training program (e.g., ALTA) within the first 30 days of employment.
- Fluency or ability to communicate in Spanish.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a clinical environment (1-2 years).
- Bachelor’s Degree.
