What You'll Do
- Deliver precise consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish in dynamic, high-stakes environments
- Maintain strict neutrality, preserving the speaker’s tone, intent, and emotional nuance
- Uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries in every interaction
- Use active listening, memory retention, and note-taking to ensure accuracy during extended dialogues
- Navigate emotionally sensitive or fast-paced conversations with empathy and composure
- Follow established protocols to manage call flow and request clarification when needed
- Engage in regular training and performance feedback to strengthen interpreting skills
- Operate internal systems and basic software to log activity and support call management
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus
- Fluency in both English and Spanish at B2 level or above
- At least six months of experience in customer service, call centers, or interpretation
- Strong verbal communication, ethical judgment, and situational awareness
- Ability to remain focused and composed in emotionally intense or fast-moving conversations
- Reliable home internet connection (cable, DSL, or fiber only)
- A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions
- Proficiency with basic computer functions and typing
- Willingness to adhere to structured schedules and session control practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in medical, legal, or community interpreting
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and digital communication platforms
Training & Development
You'll receive four weeks of paid training, delivered remotely or on-site, covering interpretation techniques, memory strategies, emotional regulation, and call management. Training includes role-play exercises led by certified professionals, preparing you for real-world scenarios. Ongoing coaching and advanced modules support long-term growth.
