This role encompasses supporting Plan Operations with core benefits functions while constructing and maintaining precise benefit configurations. What You Will Do: • Collaborate with clients to identify and understand benefit plan requirements, building and maintaining pharmacy benefit plans • Organize benefit configuration and structure for assigned accounts by monitoring plan data integrity • Assist in process improvement initiatives • Maintain prior authorizations and step therapy rules • Grandfather/transition new clients and update formularies as directed by clinical team • Communicate project status, escalate issues, and provide workflow efficiency insights • Collaborate with member support and customer success teams to resolve benefit-related inquiries • Provide claims adjudication process troubleshooting support • Support new client implementations, conduct go-live testing, perform post go-live auditing What You Will Bring to SmithRx: • 4+ years of payer/claims and benefit configuration experience • Analytical skills and Microsoft Excel proficiency • Strong communication abilities across various platforms • Self-starter mentality with creative problem-solving capabilities • Execution-focused approach with solutions-oriented mindset • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced technological environment What SmithRx Offers: • Comprehensive wellness benefits package • Competitive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance • Flexible spending and retirement savings programs • Disability coverage • Discretionary paid time off • 12 paid holidays • Wellness and commuter benefits • Parental leave • Employee assistance program • Professional development opportunities • Well-stocked office kitchen
