ALTEN MÉXICO is looking for a Backup and Disaster Recovery Specialist (ITSCM) to safeguard our critical business information. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and availability through the design and management of robust backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies, focusing on minimizing operational downtime.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular testing of disaster recovery plans and backup processes to ensure effectiveness and reliability.
- Monitor and report on backup operations and restore processes, addressing any issues proactively.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and refine data retention policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff on backup and recovery processes and tools.
- Stay current with advancements in backup and recovery technologies and recommend improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
