This position is shared by Jobgether via a partner organization. We are currently recruiting a Senior Backend Engineer for United States & Canada locations. We are in search of a skilled backend engineer to enhance a distributed, high-impact engineering team. In this role, you will architect, construct, and optimize backend infrastructures supporting millions of users while leading crucial product and technological initiatives. You will engage with cross-functional teams, address intricate engineering challenges, and contribute to delivering dependable, secure, and high-performance services. Accountabilities: · Construct and implement new backend capabilities, products, and system integrations. · Create robust, adaptable systems supporting extensive operational demands. · Assume complete responsibility for critical product and engineering goals from initial concept to implementation. · Coordinate with engineers, product strategists, and design professionals across decentralized teams. · Uphold rigorous standards for code integrity, verification, security, and comprehensive documentation. Requirements: · 5+ years professional backend engineering background, particularly in data-intensive or financial/cryptocurrency systems. · Comprehensive computer science knowledge: algorithmic principles, data structures, system architecture, and distributed computing. · Profound understanding of backend technologies including database systems, communication platforms, orchestration tools, and data workflow mechanisms. · Practical experience designing, expanding, and maintaining production infrastructures in rapidly growing or emerging organizational environments. · Comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and expertise in remote collaborative settings. · Exceptional communication capabilities and ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. · Demonstrated commitment to mission-driven work and capacity to deliver quantifiable outcomes.
