Join Jobgether as a Backend Engineer and help build the scalable, high-performance services that power our consumer-facing applications. You will be a key part of a dynamic, fully remote team, developing cloud-native, event-driven solutions using modern technologies while ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.
- Develop event-driven, scalable solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and Kinesis.
- Write clean, secure, and maintainable code with proper unit testing, logging, and monitoring.
- Participate in design reviews, architectural discussions, and performance optimizations.
- Integrate experimentation platforms (e.g., Split.io, Statsig, Eppo) into consumer products.
- Follow Agile practices including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and iterative delivery cycles.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, and IAM.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, EventBridge).
- Experience integrating experimentation platforms and implementing A/B testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native development, performance tuning, and system reliability.
- Excellent communication skills, collaboration mindset, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
