Voldex Games is looking for a Software Engineer to build and launch features for popular Roblox games like Brookhaven, Driving Empire, and NFL Universe Football. In this role, you'll write clean Roblox Lua code, debug live systems, and collaborate with designers and artists to craft gameplay experiences for millions of daily players.

What You'll Do

Build and launch features that delight millions of players daily
Write clean, performant, and maintainable Roblox Lua code
Partner with designers, artists, and producers to craft gameplay experiences
Debug and improve live game systems
Improve the game on the technical front and maintain high quality standards
Playtest and provide design/product feedback regularly

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent development experience
Strong foundation in CS fundamentals and problem-solving
Familiarity with game engines, scripting languages, version control
Excellent communication and collaborative mindset
1+ years of Roblox development experience

Nice to Have

Shipped games or features on Roblox or similar platforms
Game jam or modding experience
Familiarity with live game systems (analytics, economy tuning, balancing)
2+ years professional software development experience

Technical Stack

Roblox Lua scripting
Backend services: AWS, Golang
Analytics pipelines: Snowflake, Tableau
Collaboration tools: GitHub, Discord
