Varicent is hiring a Backend Developer to build and evolve the backend for our AI-powered ELT platform. You'll design and scale REST APIs for high-performance data operations and help shape our infrastructure using AWS and Terraform, working within a fully remote, collaborative team.
What You'll Do
- Build and evolve our backend using Python and TypeScript (Node.js).
- Design and scale REST APIs for high-performance data operations.
- Use AWS tools like Lambda, S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB to power our platform.
- Help shape our infrastructure using Terraform and the Serverless Framework.
- Collaborate across product, design, and QA to deliver features.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6 years of experience with a backend language such as Python, Java, or C.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Strong English communication skills.
