Jobgether is looking for a Back End Engineer to join our mission-driven team building secure, scalable, and high-performance digital platforms for enterprise clients in the healthcare sector. You will design and implement APIs, services, and infrastructure to support web and mobile applications.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable server-side components and APIs.
Implement microservices using TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS, and manage deployments in AWS environments.
Collaborate with Product and Front-End teams to implement GraphQL and RESTful APIs, business logic, and database schemas.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Docker, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Monitor, debug, and optimize backend performance, reliability, and observability.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST requirements through strong engineering practices.
Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation and unit/integration tests, participating in agile sprints using Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in backend software development, preferably with SaaS or digital health platforms.
Strong expertise in TypeScript/Node.js with RESTful and GraphQL server experience.
Proficiency with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, and ECS.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, security best practices, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST).
Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work effectively in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
