KoBold Metals is looking for a Back-end Engineer to build robust, scalable services that form the foundation of our mineral discovery platform. You will solve complex engineering challenges to support our mission of finding critical resources.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate scientific and business needs into technical solutions
Implement data processing pipelines and ensure system reliability and scalability
Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code

What We're Looking For

Proven experience building and scaling production backend systems
Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, C#)
Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and database design
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, product-focused mindset

Work Mode

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be located in Eastern Europe, Bangalore (India), Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Philippines, Poland, Romania, or Serbia.
