Wemetrix is hiring an Azure Cloud Engineer (Infrastructure & Data Platform)

Wemetrix is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, and scale the cloud infrastructure powering our VALUEBOARD® platform. You will be a key technical contributor, collaborating closely with data engineers, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver a robust, scalable, and secure foundation.

What You'll Do

• Architect and deploy scalable Azure infrastructure to support data, AI, and analytics workloads.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code templates using Terraform or Bicep for reproducible, secure environments.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for data services, APIs, and ML model deployments.
• Operate and enhance Azure Databricks, Data Factory, AKS, and ADX/ClickHouse environments to ensure reliability and performance.
• Deploy and integrate observability and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, Datadog, Azure Monitor) to ensure visibility and uptime.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve infrastructure performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers and ML engineers to deliver reliable, automated pipelines and services.
• Ensure compliance, scalability, and resilience within a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to deliver high-availability, production-ready cloud services.

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or another major cloud provider.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, or other IaC frameworks.
• Solid experience in CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with AKS, Databricks, ADF, or Synapse for data and ML workloads.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, identity, and RBAC in Azure and hybrid environments.
• Practical experience with monitoring and observability stacks, ideally combining open-source (Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic) and cloud-native (Datadog, Azure Monitor) tools.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset; you automate, document, and continuously improve systems.
• A collaborative attitude with clear communication and ownership of outcomes.
• Curiosity and drive to keep learning.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to MLOps practices (MLflow, model deployment, or feature stores).
• Experience with ClickHouse or Azure Data Explorer (ADX).
• Microsoft certifications: AZ-104, DP-203, AZ-400.
• Experience in SaaS or Fintech platforms.
