Capgemini is hiring an AWS Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop cloud-native applications on AWS, build robust microservices architectures, implement infrastructure automation, and ensure security and compliance standards are met.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, and S3
- Build microservices-based architectures using serverless or containerized models
- Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Create Infrastructure as Code using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows
- Set up CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Ensure smooth deployments following DevOps and GitOps best practices
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement AWS security best practices including IAM roles, policies, secrets management, and encryption
- Work with security teams to ensure compliance with standards like SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI
- Conduct code reviews and infrastructure audits
- Configure monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, X-Ray, AWS Config, and GuardDuty
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure or application issues
- Optimize cost efficiency across AWS services
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Cloud Application Development using AWS services
- Proven experience building microservices-based architectures
- Hands-on experience implementing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Proficiency with Infrastructure Automation using IaC tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK)
- Experience automating provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of DevOps and GitOps best practices
- Experience implementing AWS security best practices
- Experience working with security compliance standards
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting in AWS
- Experience optimizing cost efficiency across AWS services
