Arch is hiring an AVP, Strategic Analytics (Data Science) to play a crucial leadership role in developing analytics capabilities for our growing Middle Market segment. You will work on high-profile advanced analytics projects that drive company decision-making and strategies, leading a team of data engineers and data scientists to build best-in-class solutions.
What You'll Do
- Build strong partnerships and engage with senior business leaders to design best-in-class analytics solutions supporting strategic objectives.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems.
- Lead initiatives that automate manual or inefficient business processes, increasing underwriter and partner productivity using GenAI and prompt engineering.
- Build strong partnerships with peers across the organization to support project goals.
- Guide the development of powerful insights and tools using a variety of analytical techniques and technologies.
- Work with stakeholders to implement sophisticated analytics models in existing workflows and systems.
- Work collaboratively with business partners to develop business rules to facilitate model-based actions.
- Monitor model adoption and effectiveness of business rules and facilitate revisions as necessary.
- Lead discussions with the executive management team about Strategic Analytics projects.
- Support, mentor, and develop the growing Strategic Analytics team on holistic, business aspects of projects.

Nice to Have
- P&C insurance experience, including knowledge of property and casualty products, pricing, underwriting guidelines, regulatory environment, and industry trends.
- Extensive experience coaching and developing leaders.
- Minimum of 7 years of direct management experience.

- Salary: $200,000 - $230,000/year
