Responsibilities
- Create detailed designs for vehicle interior and exterior elements, including trims, controls, lighting, and interfaces
- Research current design trends, user preferences, material innovations, and new technologies
- Develop original design concepts that reflect brand values and strategic product direction
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools to support idea development, concept exploration, visual representation, and design refinement
- Generate hand sketches, digital 2D illustrations, 3D models, photorealistic renderings, and presentation materials
- Work closely with engineering, user experience, user interface, color-material-finish, and research and development teams
- Incorporate technical specifications, ergonomic principles, safety regulations, and manufacturing limitations into design solutions
- Engage in formal and informal design evaluations and contribute to cyclical design improvement processes
