Motorola Solutions is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to analyze, develop, design, and maintain software automation test scripts for its CommandCentral Responder suite. This role supports system integration of software and hardware and ensures quality assurance across cloud-based microservices and mobile client solutions used by law enforcement agencies.
What You'll Do
- Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software Automation Test script for the organization’s products and systems
- Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency
- Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation
- Assist in resolving customer field issues on live, production systems
- Troubleshoot customer reported issues
- Maintain client/server product
What We're Looking For
- A formal qualification (Degree) in Computing Science or equivalent numerate qualification
- Experience of Java, Python or C#
- 3+ years experience with UI automation frameworks, targeting handheld/windows apps. E.g. Appium, XCUITest, Repeato
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- ISTQB certification
- Knowledge of source code management technologies (e.g. GIT, SubVersion etc.)
- Knowledge of software development / issue tracking systems (e.g. Jira, MS DevOps etc.)
- Experience with web service technologies (e.g. SOAP, REST, JSON etc)
- Create/maintain scripts to perform repetitive tasks (Powershell, Bash, etc)
