Mabe is hiring an Automation Specialist to ensure the support and performance of automation and robotics equipment servicing our production lines. Your role is critical for solving automation-related problems and implementing improvements that reduce downtime and positively impact key safety, quality, cost, and delivery indicators, ultimately decreasing dependency on external suppliers.
What You'll Do
- Ensure maintenance and safeguarding of all required software backups and licenses within the plant.
- Provide support to operational areas for failures in automation, electrical control, and robotics.
- Modify programming logic to implement improvements in safety, quality, or equipment availability.
- Maintain and improve the hardware systems of current installations.
- Generate maintenance standards for automation and robotics equipment.
- Transfer knowledge of automation, control, and robotics to maintenance engineers and technical personnel.
- Analyze and solve problems related to automation, electrical control, and robotics.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Engineering degree.
- Degree Major: Mechatronics.
- Specialized Knowledge: Project Management, Process Control Programming, Automation and Digitalization Technology, Certification in the field.
- Languages: English proficiency at 85%.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years.
- Area of Experience: Project Administration.
- Industry of Experience: Manufacturing.
- Previous Role: Lead or Specialist.

You will report to the Director of Advanced Manufacturing.
Work Mode
This role is onsite in Celaya, México.
