Ciklum is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join a cross-functional team developing a collaborative sportswear design platform for a top-5 multinational sportswear company. You will engineer experiences of tomorrow using proven and edge technologies.

What You'll Do

Create and own the Test Automation Strategy.
Develop test automation framework architecture.
Automate regression and other functional testing on Web backend projects.
Build and maintain automated testing frameworks.
Integrate automated testing into the CI process.
Adjust test cases for automated testing needs.
Prepare test data and test environments.
Make conclusions and report on the stability of the product under test.
Potentially perform testing activities on several projects, communicating with developers and project managers.
Collaborate closely with the Manual QA Team.
Assist in strategic decisions regarding Manual/Automation processes.
Cover both Automation and Manual QA aspects as needed.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation.
Experience with Serenity, Rest Assured, and Java21 for backend automation.
Experience with Playwright/Typescript for frontend automation.
Experience with Cucumber and Allure.
Experience with modern agent/MCP-based testing approaches.
Proven experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch.
A solid understanding of core QA processes.
Solid skills in Java and OOP.
Experience implementing automated testing for projects and systems.
Experience with continuous integration processes and tools like Jenkins or TeamCity.
Experience working with version control systems such as GIT or SVN.
In-depth knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures.
Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques, and types.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
A Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
Good English skills at the Upper-Intermediate level or above.
