Hi Rasmus is looking for an Automated QA Engineer to join our mission of making evidence-based autism care accessible. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test suites to ensure our product's reliability and scalability, collaborating closely with QA and engineering teams.
What You'll Do
- Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Playwright.
- Convert manual test cases into well-structured automated tests to expand regression coverage.
- Organize and maintain test cases in Qase, ensuring clear structure and traceability.
- Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to define test strategy, automation priorities, and acceptance criteria.
- Design and execute end-to-end automated tests across key user journeys.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to improve release reliability and speed.
- Identify, track, and document bugs with structured reports.
- Analyze recurring issues and propose long-term automation or process improvements.
- Participate in spec reviews, early feature planning, and risk assessment.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the product to design user-centric automated test scenarios.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of QA fundamentals and automation best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Experience using Qase or another test case management tool.
- Ability to write stable, maintainable automated tests in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience validating APIs, browser flows, and cross-platform behaviors.
- Strong sense of ownership—you drive automation coverage and refine test processes.
- Excellent communication skills—you create clear, structured bug reports and collaborate effectively.
- Experience working in Agile or fast-moving SaaS environments.
- A detail-oriented, investigative mindset—able to uncover edge cases.
- Experience balancing manual and automated testing when appropriate.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions a plus).
