Responsibilities
- Become an expert at understanding, interpreting, and standardising automotive manufacturer parts catalog information.
- Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in vehicle and parts data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Conduct thorough data validation and verification processes to ensure compliance with established standards, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to define and implement data quality assurance procedures and workflows, incorporating feedback from internal and external sources.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data management processes, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Work alongside other team members and stakeholders on data management best practices, ensuring a consistent understanding and application of data standards and quality control procedures.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and specifications, with a focus on auto parts data research and management.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, with a track record of successfully managing parts data and ensuring data quality.
- Attention to detail and a systematic approach to data research and validation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify data inconsistencies, diagnose root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective engagement with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for data accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of parts data quality.

Additional Information
- If you are not based in Christchurch, we will fly you to meet the PH team members in the Philippines per quarter for our “Season Openers” (we pay for your travel and accommodation).
- Primary caregivers receive 3 months of fully paid parental leave, plus a flexible return-to-work (four days on full pay for your first three months back).
