TD Insurance is looking for an Auto Claims Advisor I to represent our company and guide customers through the claims process from start to finish. You'll provide immediate advice and support following an automobile accident, ensuring customers feel supported and their needs are met.
What You'll Do
- Support customer claims from start to finish, arranging towing, setting up appraisals, and outlining coverage terms.
- Gather, organize, and verify required information and documentation from all available sources to build thorough claim files.
- Reconcile estimates from new and preferred vendors to ensure appropriate settlements for vehicle damages.
- Contribute to team productivity objectives by maintaining a positive file count and open/close ratio.
- Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors such as Enterprise and repair shops.
- Research coverage scenarios and apply this knowledge directly to customer claim files.
- Greet and welcome customers as they arrive at TD Auto Centres.
- Apply non-biased methods to achieve file resolution, resulting in fair and equitable claim settlements.
- Communicate clear claims processing requirements to customers while maintaining detailed notes and delivering timely updates.
- Participate as a team member and contribute to a positive work environment.

Nice to Have
- One or more years of claims adjusting experience.
- Postsecondary education considered an asset.
- Candidates actively pursuing their Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or other relevant continuing education.
- Provincial claims licensing may be required.

- Compensation: $49,050 - $73,600 CAD.
