Bombardier was looking for an Auditor, Quality Assurance

Bombardier is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to ensure the highest standards across its Business Aircraft Service Centre network. You will perform critical audits, manage corrective actions, and support key quality assurance programs and projects.

What You'll Do

  • Perform on-site internal audits of service centers, both domestic and international.
  • Coordinate and conduct audits of mobile trucks.
  • Initiate, manage, and monitor all audit-related corrective actions.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and approvals, including on-site vendor audits for non-certificated maintenance vendors.
  • Develop, analyze, maintain, and support key programs and projects managed by the Quality Assurance Department.
  • Be responsible for documentation, reporting, and tracking of these projects.
  • Provide inter-departmental support for QA activities, including audit follow-up, training coordination, and supplier quality coordination.
  • Provide technology support and input, such as for web page content.
  • Support the creation of QA-related training materials.
  • Assist with KPI development and tracking.
  • Assist with other QA-related activities, including department projects and monthly reports.
  • Assist other QA Analysts with reporting needs as required.

What We're Looking For

  • At least five years of experience in a technical field such as manufacturing, aerospace, or defense.
  • At least three years of experience auditing to Quality Management System requirements.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Exposure to data compilation, tracking methods, and reporting with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exposure to training and presentation methods as well as policy and procedure writing.
  • Knowledge of regulatory Quality Systems (e.g., FAA, EASA, CAAC), Quality Assurance, and/or other technical systems within a regulatory environment.
  • Basic awareness of gaining foreign aircraft maintenance organization authorizations and certifications.
  • Basic awareness of writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Supplemental Manuals to support foreign certifications.
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations within the network, both domestic and international.
