Responsibilities
- Design and carry out the deployment of audiovisual equipment such as sound systems, video conferencing tools, and control interfaces.
- Connect AV systems with current IT networks and control frameworks to ensure smooth operation.
- Perform comprehensive system testing after installation to confirm functionality and address technical faults.
- Set up and code AV platforms according to project specifications and client requirements.
- Adapt control panels and user interfaces for intuitive operation.
- Verify compatibility of AV systems with multiple devices and operating platforms.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines, financial limits, and project goals.
- Support the creation of project records, including gear inventories, cabling schematics, and operating guides.
- Liaise with outside suppliers and makers to obtain necessary AV hardware.
- Deliver on-location assistance and direction to clients during system rollout.
- Lead instructional sessions for end users to ensure confidence in using AV technology.
- Act as the main contact for clients throughout and after installation, resolving inquiries and issues.
- Identify and fix technical malfunctions in AV setups efficiently.
- Offer continuous support for problem resolution, upkeep, and system enhancements.
- Keep accurate logs of service actions, system errors, and fixes applied.
- Produce and update thorough documentation covering system setups, configurations, and user directions.
- Inform management and clients about project status, challenges, and resolutions.
- Monitor equipment stock, lifecycle data, and system performance to plan future updates and maintenance.
