Surplex GmbH is looking for an Auction Coordinator (m/f/d) to manage the pre-auction process for our auctions in Poland and the continental region. In this key role, you will serve as the primary contact for sellers and coordinate all aspects of auction events, documentation, and post-sale processes, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary contact for sellers via phone, email, and internal platforms.
- Plan and coordinate auction events, including KYC verification, viewing days, delivery days, and the post-sale process.
- Manage auction-related documentation and ensure accuracy in lots with reserve prices, proceeds, and payment status.
- Collaborate closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting.
- Provide administrative support such as data uploads, translation, travel booking, and internal coordination.
- Assist with claim management, settlement applications, and logistical tasks on delivery days.
- Identify process improvements and proactively support clients and colleagues in solving operational issues.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant work experience as a Merchant or Sales Assistant combined with vocational education.
- Native Polish and good English skills, both spoken and written.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Experience in process optimization and use of IT systems.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to plan ahead and anticipate trends.
- A customer satisfaction-oriented approach with a proactive attitude.
Nice to Have
- Additional European language skills.
