The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for its Lubbock campus. You will provide specialized clinical care in West Texas while contributing to the education of future physicians and advancing the field through research.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care, including annual exams, prenatal care, and gynecological procedures.
- Manage inpatient care, delivering surgical services, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care.
- Participate actively in the labor and delivery call schedule.
- Engage in department-established quality improvement and patient care programs.
- Participate in the training and mentorship of residents and medical students.
What We're Looking For
- MD, DO, or MBBS degree.
- Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3.
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program.
Nice to Have
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).
- Experience using the EPIC electronic medical records system.
