The University of Florida is seeking a Family Medicine physician (MD/DO) for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at UF Health Family Medicine Jonesville Clinic in Gainesville. You will provide direct patient care in an ambulatory setting while contributing to the department's educational mission.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan at the UF Health Family Medicine Jonesville Clinic
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the primary care clinic
- Participate in clinic and/or inpatient call rotations
- Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs)
- Contribute to departmental service and other faculty responsibilities as assigned
- Teach medical students and Family Medicine residents during patient care activities
- Participate in inpatient teaching rounds when applicable
- Engage in departmental educational conferences, seminars, and lectures
What We're Looking For
- M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent
- Board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
- Current Florida medical license or eligibility
- Proven experience in providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (E.H.R.) systems is essential
