Oriental Bank is seeking an Associate, Sales and Services to provide exceptional customer service while identifying financial needs to present solutions and cross-sell products. In this role, you will focus on developing new business relationships and retaining existing ones.
What You'll Do
- Deliver proactive and dynamic customer service with a positive attitude.
- Receive bank visitors, provide information, and direct them to appropriate staff.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services, providing solutions for account disputes.
- Listen to customer needs and match them to bank products and services to generate referrals.
- Generate new accounts, loans, and other products to meet customer needs and branch profitability goals.
- Cross-sell bank products and services.
- Receive customer transactions and process them in the system, complying with bank policies and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with bank policy and regulations in every account or transaction performed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- Excellent consulting, sales, and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding communication skills both in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Proficient in MS Office.
Nice to Have
- Two (2) years of experience in a financial services company or related work.
- Knowledge of the Banking Industry products, services, processes, and regulations.
