Amway is hiring an Associate Research Scientist I to join our Quality Control team. In this lab-based role, you will directly ensure the safety and quality of products reaching customers worldwide by specializing in wet chemistry testing, a critical function for keeping materials moving through our laboratory.

What You'll Do

Review the daily priority board to plan your testing schedule.
Prepare samples and reagents according to established procedures.
Set up, calibrate, and operate instrumentation.
Run tests, monitor their progress, and analyze the resulting data.
Enter your findings into our lab information system (StarLIMS).
Collaborate with a peer to review each other's work, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
Manage a number of test methods from start to finish.

What We're Looking For

Prior GMP chemistry laboratory experience (internship experience ok)
Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs/test methods and report data
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related Scientific field

Nice to Have

Wet Chemistry or Tableting laboratory experience/familiarity

Team & Environment

You will join a dynamic team of 11 FTEs and 5 contractors. The team works under the umbrella of the QC Department, which includes Analytical Capabilities, Microbiology, Incoming Material Inspection and Records Review. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with partners in Research & Development, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
