Ampersand Rwanda Ltd is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will own three key products: a mobile app for moto drivers, an app for battery swaps, and software for managing swap operations and our battery fleet. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for ambitious outcomes that support our mission and growth.
What You'll Do
- Build a deep understanding of software customers' needs and pain points from external partners, drivers, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive product strategy, roadmap, and roadmap execution.
- Define product requirements and work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to bring the roadmap to market quickly.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to develop go-to-market plans and ensure successful product launches.
- Continuously gather customer feedback to improve existing products and inform future product development.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of working experience, mostly in product management-related work.
- A degree in a relevant field (engineering, product design, UX research, etc.).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly technical environment.
- A proven track record of launching successful products.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to manage shifting priorities and unforeseen challenges.
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Must be authorized to work in Rwanda.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a start-up environment.
- Experience in the battery swap or mobility industry.
- Experience with hardware, B2B, and/or internal products.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Senior Product Manager and work closely with a team of over 10 software engineers.
