Eurofins Scientific is hiring an Associate Practitioner Histology to join the team at Eurofins Biomnis Ireland. In this role, you will work under supervision in our histology laboratory, performing key technical processes and supporting daily operations to deliver high-quality results.
What You'll Do
- Use Laboratory Information Management Systems for sample tracking and data entry.
- Perform technical duties like microtomy, block check, embedding, and immunohistochemistry set-up under appropriate supervision.
- Prepare samples and reagents in strict accordance with established SOPs.
- Perform clerical and laboratory aide duties to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain laboratory instrumentation and report any equipment failures.
- Assist in maintaining reagent stocks and prepare reagents as needed.
- Enter QC result data and report incidents via the formal process.
What We're Looking For
- A relevant science diploma or degree, or completion of the state exams qualification in your country of training.
- The personal competence and capacity to properly discharge all duties of the role.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a similar histology or laboratory role.

Team & Environment
You will work under the supervision of the Chief Biomedical Scientist and the Consultant Head of Department or their deputy, receiving guidance and support as you develop your skills.
