Join Dow Chemical International Pvt Ltd (Dow India) as an Associate Operator. You will operate assigned equipment or areas of the plant, perform operational activities per the Operations Dashboard, and utilize your knowledge to run the facility in a safe, reliable, and optimal manner.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate and monitor plant equipment and processes to meet production goals.
- Perform routine checks, scheduled tasks, and respond to unplanned events.
- Ensure compliance with Operating Discipline policies and procedures.
- Conduct effective shift handovers and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support continuous improvement by tracking performance metrics and identifying opportunities.
- Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance as per guidelines.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Provide training to less experienced operators.
- Utilize discretionary time to enable sustainable performance results for the facility.
- Work with Shift Team members to efficiently anticipate and resolve unplanned events and escalate issues appropriately.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical, or an equivalent field.
Nice to Have
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
