Clarivate is looking for an Associate Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our team in Bangalore. You will contribute to syndicated market research reports and custom projects within the medical device sector, serving as a subject matter expert and consultant for cardiovascular medical device markets.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the subject matter expert and consultant for cardiovascular medical device markets.
- Interview industry participants and medical professionals for primary insights.
- Use Clarivate’s proprietary research repositories to develop client‑ready insights.
- Analyze financial, regulatory, and government documents to identify data supporting market analysis.
- Lead ad‑hoc projects and initiatives, delivering solutions for internal teams and clients.
- Manage client engagements while supporting sales in business development activities.
- Mentor new and junior team members.
- Model and forecast healthcare and medical device markets, including integrating diverse data points into cohesive market models, translating qualitative insights into quantitative frameworks, and developing hypotheses on market dynamics.
- Analyze large datasets using Excel and database tools.
- Forecast markets using macroeconomic and micro‑level drivers.
- Identify data trends and outliers using time‑series tables and visualizations.
- Write and prepare comprehensive research reports based on insights and forecast analyses.
What We're Looking For
- A B.Tech, Master's (MA, MS in Life Sciences or MBA), Pharm D, or PhD.
- 0–1 years of relevant experience.
- Subject-matter familiarity in at least one medical device therapy area or relevant industry exposure.
- Knowledge of market research methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, structured data organization).
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Highly self‑motivated; able to work independently and collaboratively to produce high‑quality deliverables.
- A mature communicator capable of interacting with high‑profile clients.
- Strong multitasking ability and comfort working under tight deadlines.
- Business acumen to support sales activities, process improvements, and stakeholder relationships.
Nice to Have
- Qualification or experience in life sciences.
- Exposure to healthcare forecasting or consulting.
- Understanding of the U.S. healthcare or medical device market.
- Strong creative problem‑solving abilities.
