Fitch Group is hiring an Associate Director, Software Development to join its Model Development Team (MDT) within the Fitch Ratings Analytical Group. In this role, you will design and implement the infrastructure for models that facilitate credit rating analysis globally.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, or enhance model infrastructure
- Conduct comprehensive testing and prepare documentation
- Develop selective rating models
- Gain experience exploring emerging technologies
- Understand the credit ratings process and model governance framework
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or any Engineering discipline
- Solid knowledge in Python or another object-oriented language (JAVA, C++, C#)
- Excellent experience developing highly scalable, reliable, and functional back-end systems
- Excellent quantitative aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong team player with great work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage timelines across multiple projects
- Experience with AWS Managed Cloud
Nice to Have
- Experience with front-end development using frameworks like React
