Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of event details such as type, participants, location, and date by cross-referencing original news sources.
- Detect and report coding inaccuracies, incorrect attributions, or data inconsistencies in event records.
- Exercise judgment when resolving unclear or ambiguous data cases and document decisions to ensure consistent validation practices.
- Communicate regularly with project leaders about task progress, obstacles, and opportunities for workflow and quality improvements.
- Assist in enhancing data validation guidelines and suggest practical process optimizations.
- Build advanced knowledge of event data frameworks and understand how verified datasets enhance machine learning model accuracy.
- Adhere to established protocols for protecting sensitive data and maintaining data security.
