Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is hiring a Litigation Associate Attorney to handle a variety of civil matters from inception to resolution. As a mid-sized firm with 200 attorneys, we offer a collaborative environment where you will build your skills through mentorship and hands-on case management.
What You'll Do
- Handle litigation matters involving wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, construction, and breach of contract/business disputes.
- Manage every aspect of cases from inception to resolution.
- Develop legal strategy, conduct research, and draft pleadings and motions.
- Manage discovery, argue motions in court, and attend mediations.
- Work with a diverse range of clients including individuals, businesses, and organizations.
- Collaborate closely with team members and be mentored by experienced partners.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in civil litigation within a law firm environment.
- Skilled in conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and propounding and responding to discovery.
- Skilled in interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
Nice to Have
- Experience taking and defending depositions.
- Experience arguing motions and attending mediations.
- Trial experience.

You will be an integral member of the litigation team within our mid-sized firm of 200 attorneys across nine offices.

- Salary: $110,000-$155,000 + performance-based bonus plan.
