About the Role

Fitch Ratings is hiring an Associate Analyst to join the US Corporates team in Monterrey. This role provides early-stage professionals an opportunity to launch their career at a global leader in credit ratings, focusing on the dynamic US Corporates sector.

What You'll Do

  • Support senior analysts in functions tied to US Corporates initiatives.
  • Assist with data management, preliminary analysis, and active collaboration across global projects.
  • Help prepare and review ratings templates and relevant documentation.
  • Support data collection and preliminary analysis for rating coverage.
  • Review legal documentation and transaction structures collaboratively.
  • Engage in global cross-sector projects for comprehensive corporate credit solutions.
  • Participate in meetings with issuers, bankers, and legal teams.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating Fitch’s corporate ratings database.
  • Monitor regulatory developments related to US Corporates and provide insights.
  • Support the team on research pieces across a range of industry-relevant topics.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
  • GPA of 2.8 or above (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work from our Monterrey office on a hybrid schedule.
  • Ability to start by July 2026 (candidates graduating in December 2026 are eligible).

Nice to Have

  • Interest in credit analysis and corporate finance.
  • Familiarity with basic financial instruments and data analysis/modeling.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A robust academic background.
