Jobgether is hiring an Associate Alts Data Analyst to work at the forefront of alternative investment data. You will contribute high-quality insights that power investment research by managing and validating data on private funds and companies, ensuring accuracy across a proprietary research platform. This role combines technical proficiency, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

Manage operational workflows for alternative investment data collection and processing.
Develop, implement, and maintain process controls and metrics to ensure data quality and integrity.
Partner with research teams to run data quality validations and support analysis initiatives.
Oversee security master and classification processes for alternative investment records.
Document processes, monitor workflow efficiency, and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
Support ad hoc research and reporting projects by providing accurate and timely data.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external data providers to resolve data discrepancies.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of experience in the financial industry, securities modeling, post-trade processing, or trade surveillance systems.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through on complex tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams, clients, and custodial data providers.
Technical proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, SQL, Python (Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, PySpark), Databricks, Bloomberg, Pitchbook, or similar financial systems.
Experience documenting processes and maintaining accurate records.
Ability to work in a hybrid setting, including Pune office presence for UK shift hours (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM IST).

Nice to Have

2+ years of experience in alternative investments is highly desirable.
