Institut Mines-Télécom is hiring an Assistant/Associate Professor of AI and Cybersecurity for a permanent contract at Télécom Paris. This role aims to strengthen education and research at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, addressing emerging challenges through cross-disciplinary skills.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research on one or several dimensions of AI and cybersecurity, with attention to articulating both fields to strengthen the safety, robustness, and resilience of digital systems.
- Teach fundamental courses essential for AI and digital security, including algorithms, data structures, probability, statistics, optimization, programming, networks, and systems.
- Play a structuring role in coordinating and integrating teaching within the AI and cybersecurity track, designing new modules, and ensuring harmonious inclusion of competencies across curricula.
- Participate in seminars, thesis defenses, and other academic events.
- Develop strong relationships with academic institutions, research centers, and industry partners.
What We're Looking For
- Hold a PhD.
- Be proficient in English.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Computer Science and Networks Department (INFRES), specifically the Cybersecurity and Cryptography team (C2). You are expected to work with other teams such as Autonomous Critical Embedded Systems (ACES), Data, Intelligence and Graphs (DIG), Statistics, Signal and Learning (S2A), and teams at École Polytechnique or Télécom SudParis.
