Unknown Company is hiring an Assistant SAS Programmer

ICON plc is looking for an Assistant SAS Programmer to join our team in Trivandrum. You will support the programming and statistical analysis of clinical trial data, working alongside experienced biostatisticians and programmers to ensure high-quality deliverables in compliance with global regulatory and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Assist in developing and executing SAS programs to generate SDTMs, analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures as per the Statistical Analysis Plan.
• Annotate table and listing shells based on analysis dataset specifications.
• Support project tracking by setting up spreadsheets and preparing input files with appropriate headers and footers.
• Write programs to produce safety listings and replicate statistical tables.
• Review and validate your own code and output using departmental quality checklists.
• Identify and escalate data issues or specification concerns to the project team.
• Attend project team meetings and stay informed of study status and communication.
• Maintain accurate study documentation in accordance with ICON policies.
• Support process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and value for clients.
• Comply with all required training and documentation standards.

What We're Looking For

• Educational background in BTech, MTech, MCA, or MSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Data Analytics.
• Hands-on SAS exposure through certification, internship, or structured training in an MNC.
• Office-based in Trivandrum.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data handling.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well in team settings.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of R is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with clinical research data and terminology is desirable.
