Baylor College of Medicine is hiring an Assistant Professor for the David J. Sugarbaker Division of Thoracic Surgery within the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery. You will join a busy surgical team committed to clinical excellence, research innovation, and teaching across our primary clinical sites.
What You'll Do
- Actively participate in department and division clinical, research, and educational programs.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based, state-of-the-art protocols and quality metrics.
- Conduct clinical activities at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center (BSLMC) and McNair campus.
- Provide call coverage for Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center (BSLMC), Texas Children's Hospital (TCH), and other affiliated hospitals.
- Grow the thoracic surgery division through participation in clinical, research, and education efforts.
- Maintain professional growth through completion of continuing medical education requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
- Qualify for full and unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Texas.
- Have completed an advanced fellowship in thoracic surgery.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position requiring work at the McNair Campus and Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center (BSLMC).
