University of Cincinnati was looking for an Assistant Professor

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a Movement Disorders Neurologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. This Parkinson’s neurologist role will focus on clinical outpatient care, developing Movement Disorders research, and contributing to the academic mission through teaching. What You'll Do

  • Provide expert clinical care in movement disorders.
  • Document findings, plans, and actions according to departmental guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant medical and legal issues impacting patient care.
  • Maintain records and statistics in accordance with department policies.
  • Attend and participate in staff, committee, department, and other administrative meetings.
  • Participate in departmental collaboration, supporting strategic initiatives, program development, and multidisciplinary care coordination.
  • Participate in the department's continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical or translational research.
  • Provide education to other health care professionals.
  • Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students through formal instruction and clinical supervision.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • MD or DO with Board eligibility or Board certification.
  • Active or eligible for a State of Ohio Medical License.
  • Completion of a 4-year Neurology residency or training program.
  • Completion of a 2-year Movement Disorders fellowship or training program.
