Nexstar Media Inc. is looking for an Assistant I, Production to perform a variety of television production duties essential for recording scenes for live and recorded broadcasts.
What You'll Do
- Compose and frame camera shots, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses, and camera settings to achieve desired effects.
- Adjust camera positions and controls to change focus, exposure, and lighting as directed.
- Operate studio and remote cameras during live broadcasts.
- Confer with directors and crew members to discuss sequences, effects, camera movements, and lighting requirements.
- Set up cameras and related equipment.
- Test, clean, maintain, and repair camera equipment.
- Produce and create graphics for the newscast.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
