Facilities Management at Texas Woman’s University is hiring an Assistant Clinical Professor for a full-time, 9-month faculty position based on the Denton campus. This role at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor involves teaching, service, and mentoring within the TWU School of Physical Therapy's DPT program.
What You'll Do
- Develop and teach courses in the professional DPT program
- Participate in service activities within the School and across the University
- Mentor DPT students in research and evidence-based practice projects
- Participate in faculty-led research projects
- Provide academic advising for DPT students
- Abide by TWU Faculty Responsibilities, Standards of Conduct, and Disciplinary Processes (URP 2.330)
What We're Looking For
- Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of Texas
- An earned Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in academic or clinical teaching
- Current membership in the American Physical Therapy Association
- Specialization from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties
