About the Role

The University of Siegen is looking for an Assistant to join the Campus for Attractive Lifelong Learning (CaLL). You will build and manage a dynamic network for knowledge exchange and personal development through innovative learning formats and attractive learning spaces, shaping a key initiative within the Prorectorate for Teachers, Continuing Education and Sustainability.

What You'll Do

  • Conceptualize and implement the CaLL website, including its updating, maintenance, and further development in Drupal.
  • Create and manage CaLL's social media presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Design publications, brochures, flyers, trade fair equipment, and other promotional materials (print & digital), including managing print orders.
  • Write and prepare texts and produce graphics and image material.
  • Participate in the strategic and operational further development of the faculty.
  • Handle public relations and marketing activities.
  • Act as an interface to other organizational units of the university.
  • Develop the corporate design, including the logo, business equipment, and promotional materials.
  • Support in establishing CaLL's structures and participate in planning and conducting virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.
  • Perform research, prepare project results, and create infographics.
  • Collaborate on developing new lifelong learning offerings through organizational and content-related support.

What We're Looking For

  • A completed university degree in the media field.
  • Basic knowledge of dealing with 'Artificial Intelligence' (e.g., LLMs and image generators).
  • Knowledge in graphic and web design, image editing, and video production with tools like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator CC, Adobe InDesign CC, Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Premiere CC, Final Cut, Autodesk Maya, MS Office, HTML, CSS, Drupal, SEO, and web analytics (Matomo).
  • Proficiency in the German language in speech and writing.
  • Good English language skills.
  • An engaged, loyal, and discreet work ethic and a KVP mentality.
