At Aperture, we are looking for an ASO Specialist who understands that getting found is just the beginning and that conversion is where the real impact happens. You will live at the intersection of performance, storytelling, and structured experimentation, bringing clarity and strategy to how apps show up and convert in the App Store and Google Play. This role is core to our growth engine.
What You'll Do
- Own and drive ASO strategy across iOS and Android for multiple clients.
- Conduct regular keyword research and metadata updates to improve rankings and visibility.
- Brief and optimise creative assets like icons, screenshots, and preview videos based on testing data and user psychology.
- Build and test Apple Custom Product Pages and Google Store Listing Experiments aligned with paid ad campaigns.
- Analyse install conversion rates, keyword rank changes, and downstream performance to guide decisions.
- Collaborate closely with creative teams to ensure store listings align with campaign messaging.
- Regularly audit competitors and categories to identify trends and opportunities.
- Track and report on performance keyword movement, page conversion, and creative test results.
- Maintain structured testing roadmaps in tools like Notion and Asana to ensure visibility and momentum.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in an ASO, growth, or performance marketing role, agency or in-house.
- Deep understanding of App Store and Google Play algorithms, creative formats, and keyword optimisation strategies.
- Proven experience running and interpreting A/B tests on store listings.
- Strong grasp of user psychology and how it maps to creative and copy decisions on app stores.
- Comfortable using ASO tools like AppTweak, App Radar, Appfigures, Mobile Action, and Sensor Tower.
- Familiar with App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Notion, Asana, and Google Workspace.
- Collaborative and curious, able to translate data into actionable insights for design, media buying, and product teams.
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong instincts for clean metadata and structured experiments.
- Experience with Apple Custom Product Pages and creative alignment for paid user acquisition.
Nice to Have
- Copywriting instincts for writing or editing titles, subtitles, and descriptions.
- Experience submitting apps for featuring or creating seasonal campaign plans.
- Familiarity with Mobile Measurement Partners and interpreting downstream install quality.
