Destiny Christian Academy seeks a dedicated Art Teacher to foster the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical development of high school students. You will achieve this through instruction, counseling, support, and maintaining a structured learning environment.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate student learning and manage grading.
- Plan, teach, and evaluate lessons and student activities.
- Evaluate and reflect on student progress.
- Conduct parent conferences and report card evaluations.
- Counsel students and monitor behavior and discipline.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and in-service days.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized classroom.
- Cover supervision duties and perform additional assignments as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree.
- A state teaching credential is strongly recommended.
- An ACSI teaching credential is required if a state credential is not valid. If a candidate hasn't completed either, they must be willing to complete the ACSI credential during employment.
