TBAuctions & Surplex is hiring an Area Sales Manager (m/w/d)

About the Role

TBAuctions & Surplex is looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) to pioneer a new digital business model in Germany. You will build a local network, acting as the face of Surplex in your region, by acquiring and advising clients on selling used machinery and industrial equipment through a digital auction platform.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and win companies in industry, construction, agriculture, or logistics as clients.
  • Visit businesses on-site, evaluate machinery and equipment, and guide sellers through the entire auction process.
  • Create high-quality listings and coordinate marketing with the internal auction team.
  • Build trust with clients, continuously expand your network, and become the regional contact for used machinery.
  • Provide feedback that contributes directly to the further development of the new business model.

Nice to Have

  • Background in sales, field service, real estate, leasing, or consulting.
  • Career changers are welcome, for example from real estate, agriculture, construction, insurance, or retail.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Realistic starting total compensation of 5–7k € per month, composed of base salary and variable pay.

Work Mode

This is a field-based role. You will work locally within Germany, operating within an approximate 100 km radius around your place of residence.
